KAY LAU, the owner of KSQUARED, is a makeup artist, hairdresser and brows stylist who offers in house and on location hair and makeup services throughout the GTA. With her passion for beauty and arts, Kay has devoted herself full-time to the practice of makeup and hair services for over fifteen years in the beauty industry. She is a certified hairdresser (2008), certified eyelashes extension stylist (Xtreme lashes 2008), a fully licensed make-up artist from the prestigious Last Look Academy in New York (2008) and has specialized training in Asian makeup from Makeup Forever, Hong Kong (2000). Her works feature in AirCanada Magazine, WedLux Magazine.

"I've always been fascinated by color & texture, it feels like painting & sculpturing." Kay’s passion is to enhance her client’s beauty with her brushes. She brings her special touch to wedding makeup, makeup for photos, camouflage makeup, fashion shows, and red carpet celebrity makeup and shares her makeup tips with clients in order to impart her knowledge. Kay will select the appropriate techniques and make-up products for different occasions, such as Airbrush makeup, Giorgio Armani, NARS, Smashbox, Makeup For Ever, Anastasia, Laura Mercier, TooFaced, RCMA and more.

Besides providing makeup, hair and eyelashes extension services, Kay wants to utilize her studio, KSQUARED, as a playground to share her creative visions with her clients and exchange ideas with her fellow colleagues for inspiration through her work. She is always looking forward to collaborate and bringing the newest techniques and the most luxury or natural products to serve her clients.
